“THE CALL OF THE INTERCESSOR”

 What is it that we do for God because we love Him so?We intercede for others who we may not even know.What is it that we can say to make the difference realSo God can understand our hearts and heed to our appeal? We need to cast our care aside and lay aside our weight.For it is not about “us” now, a higher stand we take.The Word says boldly we must go but humble to his throne.To fight the powers of darkness and ” NO” we do not go alone. But God’s grace goes before us and reminds us all that weAre more than just the conquerors that He’s called us out to be.To fight within the spirit for He knows what we must sayAnd we let God fight the battle through the method that we pray. Our Bishop’s said that we should stir this gift up in a wayThe enemy will know that we are God’s and “No” we do not play.The difference is that God chose us to stand and not to failOur God is real and all will know His Word always prevails. We as God’s mighty warriors dress in armor frequently.Stand ready to perform our task against the enemy.Some choose to lie prostrate or on our knees with moans and groansBut we are sure to rest our case, with God before His throne. Some wail, some shout, some speak the Word so Satan has to flee.He cannot stand in Jesus’ name; defeat is all he’ll see.Let’s heed the call because God chose us out to do His work.We won’t complain or turn our heads or our gift we will shirk. So we will stand, our office hold, He gave it just to us.Obedience to the call we’ll give.  We know it is a must.Then rise we must, victorious; we know our prayers God hears.We’ll show the world God answers prayer. It’s spoken loud and clear.
