In God’s Hands 2011

In God’s Hands You Are Formidable In Year – 2011

Jeremiah 51:20-23
“ You are My battle-ax and weapons of war: For with you I will break the nation in pieces; With you I will destroy kingdoms; With you I will break in pieces the horse and its rider; With you I will break in pieces the chariot and its rider; With you also I will break in pieces man and woman; With you I will break in pieces old and young; With you I will break in pieces the young man and the maiden; With you also I will break in pieces the shepherd and his flock; With you I will break in pieces the farmer and his yoke of oxen; And with you I will break in pieces governors and rulers.

Modern day Christians spend their lives full of weakness, doubt and timidity yet God says very clearly that His plan for them is that they be powerful weapons with which He intends to conquer all His opponents. God intends to use Christians to change the world whether the world is willing or not. He purposes to use Christians as weapons through which He will bring down all arguments and counter arguments.

This coming year (2011) He intends to use us to bring down strongholds of evil, hold governments, employ and fire politicians, maintain peace and stability of nations; that is the plan of God and no matter what anybody else says is irrelevant. Situations and circumstances not withstanding, God is quite clear on what His intentions are, whom He intends to use to accomplish His will. God does not ask about our opinions when He makes His decision because He is more aware of them before they became a reality to us. God’s purpose surpasses our thoughts and purposes both collectively and individually.

Whenever a Christian finds him/herself on the receiving end of brunt force of the enemy’s opposition he/she should seek God’s strength and purpose in their salvation. God intends to use all Christians to conquer and to counter whatever the enemy has undone through preaching, teaching, testifying, sharing, encouraging and reading the Word of God to those that are perishing in sin. Praying also is such a powerful weapon not to be ignored by any chance.

It is incumbent upon every Christian now to realize that they were not solely born again to enjoy the fruits of salvation by themselves but to extend the same to those who don’t know about God yet. Even when temptations come and overcoming them is a priority it is also a form of fighting the work of the enemy. God makes His people strong to prove Himself strong in the eyes of those that seek Him for He never abandons those that are His.

God intends to use those who are willing to abandon their self righteousness and adorn ready to put His righteousness destroy all those that are proud and also the source of their pride.  He also says that He will use them to destroy the rider and his horse; the proud ride on their high horses of pride from which they look down upon everybody else and this doesn’t please God at all.

Even when circumstances are contrary to us we have to rely on the truth of the Word of God to destroy every work of the enemy in us and amongst us. Many people are possessed and tormented by demonic forces; it takes those who are born-again to pray for their deliverance, that is fighting the Lord’s battles too.

The haves look down upon the have-nots; the literate look down upon the illiterate, some races look down upon others and this really displeases God because He is the giver, provider and Creator of everything. God is against such people who pretend to know it all and have it all yet they forget that He is over all and consequently will turn down and upset all the wisdom of this world. God plans to destroy all things that rely on the human knowledge and efforts using His appointed faithful.

Matthew 11:12 (NKJV)

And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.

Jesus is telling us that the work of redemption is accomplished and therefore there is no time to trend this world softly. With His coming, the devil has no more power over the world and its inhabitants. However, the power to undo whatever Satan has done and still is doing on earth needs people who are purposefully powerful and not the weak uncoordinated Christians.

No treading softly anymore, Jesus is our confidence, power and guide. This is not about what we know or don’t know; it is Him who is doing everything. Even John the Baptist had stopped beseeching people to repent their sins and come for baptism, he actually called the Pharisees a brood of vipers openly, for sure this is not a kind word by any standards; He abandoned all tact and diplomacy because the end of sin was at hand but clung to them (sins).

The devil has inhabited the earth since when had been thrown down by use of force from heaven. The time to deal with him is now, He must be stopped and all the damage he has done should be undone. Many are held captive by the tentacles of the evil one and their release is in the hands of the Christians. This can not happen without a fight, therefore only those who are ready and forceful enough (spiritually) can survive this exercise. Jesus knew that the devil was not and is not ready to cede his territory so it is very clear that only the bold and the forceful can unseat him from all the strongholds he has hidden. God is intending to strengthen His people to face and deliver His people from the bondage and tentacles of Satan.

Micah 5:10-12 (NKJV)

“In that day,” declares the LORD, “I will destroy your horses from among you and demolish your chariots. I will destroy the cities of your land and tear down all your strongholds. I will destroy your witchcraft and you will no longer cast spells.

God is very clear of what is intentions are, it does not matter who is against His purposes. No matter what the opposition is He says very clearly that He will undo everything that is done against Him, His intentions and purposes. Wherever there is a force that is contrary to God is hidden it will not survive, He will search and destroy the same using His forces that outnumber, outgun every stronghold of Satan. For this reason people need to be ready to be used by God to accomplish such purposes.

Whether one is ready for God’s battle is another matter. Kindly allow me to ask you this question; are you ready to be deployed by your Creator to destroy the work of the enemy? May it be in family settings, Satan has declared his intention to kill every fruitful relationship and break marriage through guile where force cannot prevail. There is an ongoing war around families and relationship from every front and only the forceful will survive the onslaught.

Christians and non Christians alike are not spared the vagaries this war; they too are targeted by the enemy; all are in battles for survival their marriages and cohesion of their family units. They are now bearing the brunt of such devastating attacks that some have given up. Others are barely hanging on, but I want to tell each and every one that God is going to use you as battle axes to dismantle all of the enemy’s battlements and proclaim His victory is very important and dear to Him.

Paul wrote very clearly that we do not wage our war against flesh and blood but against the principalities of the air, such forces can only be met with God’s strength and purposeful intentions that are available to His people who are called by His name. He is ready to release you and me as His tools of war to win back His people to Himself.

God is not sparing any effort until the whole world is saved; therefore whether or not you are ready will neither stop nor delay God from His intended purpose, it is only prudent that all Christians to align themselves, collectively or individually for deployment for in so doing God will reward and bless you abundantly. Among those who will not enter heaven are cowards therefore every Christian need to be bold in this war, no more fence sitters.

Our view of ourselves is not important in this very important matter but God’s view is. If God sees us as His battle axes, then so we should also see ourselves as such. It is dangerous to disagree with God’s Word; it is beneficial to agree with the same too. My prayer is that we can align ourselves for Godly purposes in the coming year 2011.

This is the year that every Christian should align themselves to be used powerfully for the work of God. If you are deployed to help the poor then do so without murmuring or boasting; if you are deployed to teach the Word, then do so with all your might; if you are deployed to prayer, then do so like you have never done before; if you are deployed to usher, do so with all the courtesy and humility never seen before; if you are deployed as an elder in the church then advice the pastor and church leadership without reservation.

The list of tasks is endless, there are numberless ways in which one can be useful in the body of Christ; self deployment is even more gracious and attracts God’s attention more than any other deployment for God says that He loves cheerful giver. May your giving be it of substances or services be done willingly, no prompting or coercion for it to attract God’s blessing.

Ask yourself in which way are you going to be deployed for God this coming year and ask for the strength to do so from Him. Remember this, in whatever or whichever way you commit to be deployed always be amenable to God’s guidance, for without it you will be lost to your human will instead of God’s will.

Let’s pray!

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and saviour, as we usher in the new year 2011, I pray for my readers across the world that You may help them cross-over into the new year full of Your Holy Spirit. May He guide them to be useful tools for You only. Don’t let any of them be lead of anything or by anybody else but only You Lord. Use them for Your purposes and intentions; let them be powerful tools for Your ministry wherever they may be. Kindly dear Lord, help them with their own affairs and may You prosper all their undertakings for with You there is sure victory and success. I pray this believing in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen. May the Almighty God remember you and treasure you always.
